Thanks Chad. I want you to know that I follow you through your blog and find much of what you write engaging. I also want you to know that in many areas, we are in agreement. And finally please know I am praying for you and your family daily.

If not before, I look forward to meeting you one day in heaven with the great cloud of witnesses who have preceded us.

Peace, my dear brother in Christ.

PAX,

Abigail

Hello!
Thanks for reading and for your gracious "review" of my post. I agree with you that we tend to be far more entertainment oriented in our faith. If it doesn't "feel" good it must not be working.

Good habits or virtues take time to grow in us. I know I can't wait to attend St. Luke's Episcopal tomorrow morning for my weekly dose of Eucharist :)

grace and peace,
Chad

Dear Jeanne,
If you continue to read the entries on this blog site, you will find parts 2 and 3 of this saga, and a note that speaks briefly of Abby's heart problems during the first stage of our move to Florida. We almost lost her, but God has extended her life again, thanks to grace and excellent medical care at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, FL.

I am so sorry for your current heartaches, and would gladly hear your story, should you care to share it. I do hope that all will work for good for you, and I know that it will, because God does not deal in second-best scenarios for any of his children. Our prayers will be with you as you move north. Perhaps we will meet on the way! But we can always meet here, in cyberspace, as you choose. If you would ever want to be more directly connected, we can be reached at rowereynolds at live dot com or 304-986-5544. Grace and peace to you and all whom you hold dear. Carol

I've just read the message on your website, and it has touched my heart! I too am in an area of sadness and disappointment in my life - (long story). I've lived here in Florida since October of 1974, but was born and raised in Michigan. Because of the current disappointments, I now have my home here in FL on the market, and am going to be returning home to Michigan. I don't know what God has in store for me there, buy He is the Potter and I am the clay. What ever He has waiting for me, I will say Amen too.

I hope that your future here in Florida is as bright as the sunshine here.

Disclaimer: I'm not clergy, but I'm a Ph.D. without a current professional position. If you're hypersensitive about being attached to another person, then I am, too. I think we need to be hypersensitive because people have not yet become sensitized to allowing women to have our own identities. I remain frustrated that I am currently defined by having small children. No one even calls me by my family name, so I have nowhere in which I am called Dr.
